The Rotary Club of Newberry chartered Boy Scout Troop 1 of the Blue Ridge Council in 1921. We have supported the troop for 100 years.

The Rotary Club of Newberry actively supports literacy in Newberry. We have helped to establish Little Free Libraries, Donations to the Literacy Association, and Reading to Elementary Children.

Each year in November the Rotary Club of Newberry hosts the Community Prayer Breakfast. At the gathering, a community member is recognized for their service to our community.
